About

Since you asked.

Saurabh

I've always been the person who cared way too much about which phone has the best camera. Took photos of everything. Didn't think much of it.

In 2022 I decided to stop pretending a phone was enough and spent some adult money on a Sony A7III. Christmas present to myself. No real plan. Just felt like I needed something creative outside of work that wasn't staring at another screen.

Turns out pointing a camera at strangers on the street is addictive.

I work in supply chain by day. Photography is what I do with the rest of my time.

I shoot streets, portraits, and the overlap between the two. Mostly I'm drawn to the stuff that goes unnoticed. A yellow coat in a sea of black suits. Someone reading an actual book on a train full of phones. A street performer giving it everything to an audience of zero. You know what I mean?

Born and raised in New Delhi. Based in Australia for the last 10 years.

Still learning. Still figuring out what my style even is. But I'm having fun, and the photos are getting better. That's enough for now.

When I'm not shooting: cooking, drinking too much coffee, new to calisthenics with an ambitious goal of doing a human flag by the end of this year, and watching F1 with borderline unhealthy dedication.
